ROR Tablet 3

"...each person is a consciousness in the middle of their chakras. Each person is a consciousness as Christ is; each person is an Arjuna, struggling to overcome the lower nature (Bhagavad-Gita)."

"<7>Who are these people who are in their first chakra, or those who for the first time open their eyes more about the realities of their environment and the goal of their lives? <8>These are the poor in spirit (Matthew 5:3) who find more and more evil things going on around them. <9>They try to find real guidance ("apostles") in order to be led to the truth. Instead they find that all those who consider themselves to be teachers and guides are liars, and these teachers and guides are as lost as themselves.

<10>That is why the person becomes discouraged because he sees all the plays people engage in to get by in life. Therefore, he or she sets out to search for the truth. <11>That was why the yogis left the regular life and isolated themselves to find the truth in mountains or jungles, because they felt the truth could not be found by following men.
<12>That is why the first symbol in our Sign (ichng-s.gif (891 bytes)) is related to the teachings of the Far East (Mystical Paths), which work to awaken or raise the latent consciousness from the first chakra to higher chakras.

<13>However, as long as man is lost in the attraction of the external world and gets along with the play of society, he will not even search to find what the real truth is. <14>But when he finds that all the guidance he used to follow is lost, then he will start to search his own Soul in order to find the truth."

There Is An Infinite Range In Creation

"<1>The elements in the manifested universe, in a broad and general way, are divided into seven categories: <2>the consciousness, three gunas, ethereal factor, aerial factor, luminous factor, liquid factor, and solid factor.

<3>However, there is not a clear-cut way to separate each category from the following or the previous ones. <4>As in the case of colors, infinite varieties and shades can be found even for one of the distinguished colors. For example, blue can range from a very light blue to a very dark one, with infinite shades between. So in the case of these elements there are also infinite stages which can be found in each category and overlap to the next or with the previous one.

<5>When the operative power of the tama guna is first released and the memory or the feeling of "I have done" (Chitta) arises, the first stage of the ethereal factor or fine ether forms. Then there will be cruder forms of ether, until the formation of air, and so on.

<6>This might be easier illustrated by the more visible elements, such as liquid and solid. There are thin liquids which flow easily, and there are liquids in thicker forms until solid factors are reached. <7>Even in the solid state, there are soft solid forms and very hard solid factors, with infinite solid varieties in-between.

<8>It is the same for infinite different levels of consciousness from Pure Consciousness down to the very crude consciousness. <9>In fact, when the consciousness becomes very crude it indeed becomes flesh and the person identifies himself as his body.

<10>This analogy goes on and is true about all things in the universe. There are infinite levels of consciousness, sentient force (satva guna), mutative force (raja guna), static force (tama guna), ethereal factor, etc.

<11>So we have to create this ability not to see everything in black and white but always as an infinite spectrum of possibilities, <12>and still these infinite ranges are changing in time (I-Ching)."

Energy Activates Propensities

<1>The fifth chakra controls ethereal factor. The corresponding kosha is the fifth one. A blissful state of mind will be experienced in this level. The etheric reality and the purpose of this manifested creation will become clear to the person. <2>People who feel they are in touch with some ethereal being(s) are in this level. They usually and strongly feel they are a channel for this (these) being(s).

<3>The angelic music (the music of the spheres, melody of the gods)

Energy Activates Propensities

Universe and Man
<1>Although there are many propensities (desires) existing in the universe, without energy (raja guna) which is the activating force, they would have remained dormant.

<2>The solar plexus is the coordinator of the energy (prana) throughout the body. It is located to the left of the navel area. <3>When the flow of energy is directed downward (woman, passion), the lower propensities, which reside in the lower energy centers (chakras), are activated. <4>When the same energy is directed upward (Mother, compassion), higher propensities will become active.
<5>The energy is directed toward any center as the kundalini (the awakening force which opens chakras) rises into each chakra and attracts the energy toward it to activate its propensities.

<6>The first energy center (chakra)

Meditation & Influence of Chakras

Universe and Man

"It should be noted that it is for the sake of comprehension that the chakras and koshas were devised to explain two aspects of human existence. In reality they are completely inter-related and of one nature. <8>Soul or the unit consciousness in its ordinary state is unaware of its divinity, the chakras, or the layers of the mind (koshas) in the body. So he identifies himself as the body. A person in this state can be called a rational animal.

<9>But through meditation, or for any other

Why do the Reminder?

"The very basis for doing the Reminder is to bring the mind from the worldly energy toward Godly or spiritual energy. The very reason for giving this practice is to bring the attention or energy from worldliness to a spiritual focus.
Mind has a tendency to chatter, to keep us busy and make us think about mundane matters. If we're not directing our energy toward God or toward higher energy, mind becomes dirty, very fast. Like it says in THOTH, if we don't take a shower every couple of days, we will be very dirty and uncomfortable. If the body becomes dirty in a few days, mind is even more sensitive than body, so it becomes dirty even faster than the body. So if we try to take a shower at least once a day, we have to clear the mind more than once a day.
So that's why

Collective Meditation vs. Transmission Meditation

"There is a difference between Collective Meditation and Transmission Meditation:

Collective meditation is to strengthen the community. That is why we meditate together (in fact it should be done every day together in the morning and evening).  Transmission meditation is what we do on Saturdays (6:00 AM to 6:30 AM and again 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM, MST).  Transmission Meditation is individual meditation for good (God) Will to man and Peace on earth, etc.

In other words: Collective Meditation is

Meditation and Prayer

"Meditation is a state when God talks to a person. Prayer is when a person talks to God! That is why in meditation one feels Oneness with God or being Him. Without being humble, this might create a superiority feeling in the person who meditates.

This is the reason why selfless service is recommended for the disciples, to bring a balance between a great feeling of being One with God and the humbleness of being selfless (His servant). Prayer also does the same thing. In order for a person to kneel down and pray to God, he or she should humble the self to do so.

Therefore, meditation and prayer go hand-in-hand. They bring a balance to a person. Meditation makes a person to be with God; prayer makes him humble. Prayer in fact is a spiritual service (not being self-centered) to the Self."

Universal Mantra

"We have a universal mantra that has been given to everyone. It is Haree Om Shrii Hung, Om Nam Kevalam, which means, "The Goal Of The Life Is To Be(Come) Divine, That Divinity (God) Is Everything."

When you use the mantra, first of all you breathe deeply, therefore it relaxes your body.  You relax your body first and then you start breathing very deeply.  Deep breathing brings

How to Meditate?

"As long as you're listening to what other people tell you is the right way, it is not going to take you where you can hear what is within you and telling you what is the truth. Whenever a person is telling you how to meditate, it's that person's experience. That is one problem on earth. Each person finds a part of the truth and grabs it and then comes back and says, I've found it. I say, Whenever you say, "I found it," you lost it.

God is not something you can find. He's something that goes on and on, and you find more of Him every moment. Even God sometimes surprises Himself. He realizes
